Timely Scoring
A fast start and great finish in the opening period set the tone for the Nats against Calgary.
Aashna Bhardwaj struck 11 seconds into the game, while Blakeley Moir lit the lamp with 54 seconds remaining in the first period. Bhardwaj would add another to give Bow Valley a 3-0 lead, but the Glaciers stormed back to tie the game at three.
Mickaila Kawula notched the game-winning goal with just over two minutes to play in the third period, earning Bow Valley a hard-earned two points.
The Nats' victory moves them within eight points of Calgary for third place.

New Year Fun
2026 has been good to the Glaciers, who improved to 5-2 in the new year with wins over Phantoms Female Hockey and the Manitoba Mavericks before falling to the third-ranked Jr. Rustlers 4-1.
Defender Ilse Leyerzapf had a three-point weekend and has five points in her last five games. Abigail Mills is tops on the team in scoring with 29 points, and she is also tied in goals with 11.
The solid play has Calgary sitting alone in sixth place, but just one point out of fifth. They are fifth in goal differential at plus 20.
The Glaciers have five shutouts this season.

Nine is fine
A gruelling weekend of four games in three days, but the streak continues for Langley.
With four more wins – two vs the Jr. Rustlers and two vs Phantoms Female Hockey - they have now won nine straight games.
Bella Gavigan shut out Phantoms Female Hockey twice; her first two blanks on the season lowered her goals against average to 2.00 and improved her record to 9-1.
Rachel Miller scored the game-winner as her hat-trick goal in a Sunday 5-4 win. It was her first hat-trick of the season. The 2011-born sniper also added a goal and a helper on the weekend and leads Langley in scoring with 35 points.
Langley leads the division with 18 wins.
